I was linked to your blog through the Elizabeth Zimmermann Knitter’s Almanac KAL. I am a fan of EZ and have knit 7 Rib Warmer Vests and 2 Simple Baby Sweaters. I also knit a Baby Surprise Jacket and wonder if you have too. I have a question, and perhaps you can answer it. When you do the final increases around st 44 and 135 (? book is not here just now) every 2nd row 3 times, does that count as the 3 ridges mentioned after that, just before you do the buttonholes? I thought not and added 3 ridges more, but I don’t think I will next time! There will be a next time!

Girl Scout Camp! Ooh boy that brings back a big smile and happy memories both of being a camper and a camp counselor (insert heroic music here!!) Hope your Independence Day was a good one with plenty of safe fire works and lovely grilling out! And also Thank You So Very Much for rescuing my dumb butt. Not only did I ask a question on a two year old post, to which you so quickly and graciously answered; but after I read your reply – it all suddenly came clear… duh! Thank you once more! I promise to struggle on with my wip, the material I’m using isn’t as nice as yours was, it’s a sturdy acrylic off a cone – as my mom is rather hard on her hand knits. I decided to hope that she’d be more attracted to the clear deep blue shade of the yarn more than she’d be distracted by the fact that I didn’t make it out of mohair for her! Pictures will be coming!!! 🙂
